പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹാർദ വാസ്തുവിദ്യയിലെ പ്രമുഖരായ ഗുഡ് എർത്തിൻ്റെ പുതിയ സംരംഭമാണ് കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ മാലൂരിൽ നിർമ്മാണം തുടങ്ങിയ ‘സാരംഗ്’. ഈ പ്രോജക്ടിന്റെ ഒരു ഭാഗം റബ്ബർ മരങ്ങൾ വെട്ടി മാറ്റി ജൈവകൃഷിയിലൂടെ ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷയും മണ്ണിന്റെ ജൈവസമ്പത്തും ഉറപ്പാക്കാൻ വേണ്ടി വിനിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. പരിസ്ഥിതിക്കും ഭക്ഷ്യസുരക്ഷയ്ക്കും വേണ്ടി ഏകവിളത്തോട്ടങ്ങളെ എങ്ങനെ രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുത്താം എന്നതിന് മാതൃകയാണ് ഈ പരീക്ഷണം.
